Ragging in Pillai Polytechnic is totally banned and strictly prohibited of following Acts and Regulations.

  • "Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999." from Government of Maharashtra.
  • All India Council of Technical Education (Prevention and Prohibition of Ragging in Technical Institution.

If the students find involved in, guilty of or abetting the ragging strict disciplinary action shall initiated and shall be penalized as per the acts and regulations.

All the students and their parents are required to submit an affidavit separately to the institution at the time of seeking admission regarding not to indulge in ragging or to abet ragging by any means so as to prevent ragging in the institution. The students seeking admission to the Hostel are also required to submit another affidavit for the same to the Institution / Hostel authorities.

Women Redressal

As per the directives received form Women development cell, Director of Technical Education, Mumbai (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE), Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai (MSBTE). We have constituted a "Women Cell" for investigating in case of any complaint received from women employee or girls students of our college regarding sexual harassment or gender discrimination.

Rules of Discipline

  • The students are request to be polite to the faculty, staff members and to each other.
  • Students should maintain high standard of cleanness in the campus.
  • Students are not allowed to use radios, transistors, tape recorders or mobile phone in the campus and the institute is not responsible for any loss of the above mentioned property.
  • Severe penalty will be imposed if the students are found mishandling the furniture or equipment or causing damage to the building or property of the Institute.
  • All the students are required to wear the identity card in the college campus. A fine of Rs. 100/- will be charged for not following the rule. A duplicate identity card will be available on payment of Rs. 100/-
